When I was 15 years old I remember going to a new friends house who live on 5 acres and thinking… wow I want this someday. I went home and wrote in my journal that I would have a 5 acre ranch by the time I was 30 years old.
Well in November 1993 I turned 30 years old and a month later I got my real estate license. Joe and I had been looking for a new home for awhile and I wanted something on acreage as I had thought for many years about what I had written in my journal all those years before.
I opened the newspaper one day (how we used to find houses back in the day) and saw an ad for a Bank Repo on 5 acres. I hopped in my car and rushed out to find a private road with a few houses on it and drove down the road and around the corner when I saw a big oak tree with a tree house in it.
I slowly went down the driveway and saw a big yellow house. I parked my car and walked around the back and found an open door. I walked in and saw the huge kitchen and immediately called Joe and said come look at our future home. He laughed and hung up the phone. I called him back and said seriously… come look! It wasn’t much. It needed a ton of work and looks nothing like what we have created now from years of hard work and a labor of love.
I knew immediately that this would be our forever home. It had seller financing at the time at 10% interest and we were happy to get it lol!
It also was the very first real estate contract I ever wrote. 25 years later we are still here, and I love it just as much if not more as that very first day.
Our children have been raised here… our son Jordon died here… our grandparents lived out their years here. We have raised and lost animals, had too many parties to count, had weddings, celebrations of life, birthdays, baby showers, wedding showers, swim parties, recently our Summer Music Fest and so much more!
I feel so blessed to not only call this place our home, our foundation, our rock but to have the honor and blessing to help others find their same dream. Write down your dream! Put pictures on your walls, make a vision board I am happy to help you with it!
Most of all know that ANYTHING you want is possible!
Tell me about YOUR dream home? Better yet, let me help you find it!

"Marguerite is very professional, as most realtors are, but the difference between the "ordinary" realtor and Marguerite is that Marguerite really cares about her customers/clients, which to me is the most important talent she offers. No mater what your situation may be, Marguerite takes personal interest in finding you the home that will meet your needs. Also after the sale Marguerite will follow up with you to make sure everything is "perfect" for you. NO I'm not getting paid for this review , I'm speaking from my experience in working with Marguerite and how she always treats me with respect and kindness. I promise you, you won't go wrong having Marguerite on your side"
