My grandmother Hazel was a very organized woman. Everything had its place, her bank account was always reconciled to the penny and she would always have all her Christmas shopping done months in advance it seemed.
I think she started the day after Christmas!
Me on the other hand…. Not so much! I always have great intentions and great ideas and am so jealous of those who get it all done.
I end up feeling like a chicken with my head cut off and am rushing around like the crazy woman you see in those videos… my family will surely testify to this as they have to put up with me. Now somehow, I pull it off but not without a few melt downs.
Well this year I am beyond excited as for the first time in many years we will have ALL of our kids AND Grandkids home for Christmas.
Now that they are all grown and have families of their own this becomes a nearly impossible dream that is finally coming to reality and I can hardly contain myself.
Because of this I am committed to NOT procrastinating and having a stress-free Christmas.
In fact I already bought a couple gifts… forgot to hide them and a certain nosy little grandson (Jordon) found one already!
I am making my list… checking it twice…. Going through all my Christmas stuff and organizing it, pulling out my favorite recipes and created a Pinterest board.. uh oh!
So what do YOU do each year to prepare for the holidays and what is your favorite recipe? I am also looking for ideas of activities and family traditions you may have.
I would love to hear from you.
Shoot me an email, message me on Facebook or give me a call at 916-996-3777.
In the meantime, have a wonderful thanksgiving with those you care about!

"Mitzi is currently my real estate agent helping me sell a house in Wheatland, CA. I have spent the past 6 months interviewing and testing out real estate agents to be sure I find the best agent that is willing to work for me. Unlike 10 or so other agents that I interviewed Mitzi immediately sent me a detailed 10+ page market analysis report and followed up with me continuously until I was ready to place the house on the market. Weekly personal emails and phone call follow-ups have been regular. Any follow-up market analysis or questions I have, she was more than happy to answer. She has helped guide me through having the current tenants stay in the house while we sell it and also has arranged multiple open houses. I am so confident I am going to get the best price and Mitzi is helping to do this. Lastly, I have never met Mitzi. I am a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force and bought this house when I was stationed at Beale Air Force Base 14 years ago. We are doing the entire transaction remotely and I have 100% confidence that this is going to be a success. If you need to ask any questions I am more than happy to discuss."
